Who Is Louis Di Bianco,
and Why Should You Care?

Hi. The guy on the left and the guy on the right are both me, Louis Di Bianco.

They both represent my type in the film and TV industry. Actually, the guy on the right is the main breadwinner so far.

Yup, I get paid a lot not to smile and to do nasty things to people. I love it. On screen, anyway. I get to be scary, tough, and authoritative without hurting anybody.

And, I end up entertaining a lot of people. That makes me happy.

 FROM MY HEART TO YOURS

"There are many here among us

Who feel that life is but a joke

But you and I, we've been through that

And this is not our fate

So let us not talk falsely now

 The hour is getting late..."

Those words are from a famous song, All Along the Watchtower, by Bob Dylan, one of my idols as a teen. His   powerful lyrics still resonate with me today.

I begin my conversation with you with the Joker's words to the Thief in Dylan's song because we are bombarded with   hype in today's world. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between a sincere message and a slick pitch that aims to   sell you an empty promise. In this environment, why should you believe me?

I can't control your decision to believe or doubt me. I can control what I choose to share with you from my heart. I   encourage you to find out if I'm the real deal by looking at sources I haven't created, like my IMDB Pro page.

You're here reading this, so chances are good that you are a person who is passionate about acting, especially, screen   acting. If you are, you probably share my belief that great acting emerges from a pure sense of truth. That's what I   always aim for when I act. I don't always achieve it, but it remains my North Star.

My site is called Screen Acting Mastery. I created it for people, perhaps like you, who feel intensely alive when you   are creating as an actor with your intent and desire focused on mastery. I draw on my experience of more than   forty years as a professional stage and screen actor and share what I've learned with you to spark your creativity and   help you become a successful working actor.

I don't present myself as a master or acting guru. I'm really good at what I do, but I am still a work in progress. Here   are some of the things that I offer that may be valuable to your art and your career.

First, I teach what I learned by acting on international stages, performing in major feature films, episodic TV, and   made for TV movies. Though I read a lot about acting, I do not teach from a textbook. I discovered the skills, tips, and   secrets that I share with my students by fumbling in the dark, falling down, making a fool of myself, then getting   back up and inching closer to mastery.

Marlon Brando said that acting is a survival mechanism. He was an artist. So are all the actors who act because they   must to feel alive. I'm one of them. The stuff of acting means too much to me to present or teach it falsely.

Another thing that I bring to the table is my long-standing career as an acting teacher and coach. I've taught actors   for as long as I have acted professionally. Because I taught and teach what I do and love, I set a high standard of   excellence on my teaching. I pride myself on the ability to make the complex simple and to express my knowledge   with clarity and specificity that actors can immediately understand and apply to their work

Third, you benefit from my experience as a stage director. Yes, I'm teaching you screen acting mastery. So please let   me explain.

I've directed one person plays, two handers, and plays with fifteen characters or more. All of them challenged me to   always speak to actors on their terms, in language that touches the core of what they do as actors. I became really   good at it. I know from the success of the productions I directed and the direct feedback from the actors who brought   those plays to life.

Directing plays also gave me a deep understanding of what makes a scene work, what is real dramatic   communication that compels an audience to watch, listen, and feel, and, what is the huge difference between acting   on stage and acting on camera.

I can confidently say that I offer you a triple threat of knowledge, proven skill, and direct experience as a teacher       and coach.

I will be honored if I have won your trust and you choose to work with me. I promise to respect that trust and give   you the best of what I have to enrich your life and work as an actor.
